Dr. Forbes graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. His emphasis in practice is in clinical pathology and internal medicine. While in school, he was involved with the Clinical Pathology Lab and Rural Area Veterinary Services providing free spay/neuter clinics on American Indian Reservations.
Dr. Forbes is a native of Milwaukee and moved to La Crosse following veterinary school. Robert and his wife Rebecca have one daughter.
He is the President Elect of the Coulee Region Veterinary Medical Association and is on the board of the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
