Dr. Kratt graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. Her emphasis in practice is in ultrasonography, internal medicine, clinical pathology, and preventative medicine. While in school, she was very active in the organization of the "Pet Pals" pet therapy program in Madison. She received numerous awards in school for her community activity and academics. Dentistry is an area of interest for Dr. Kratt.

Dr. Kratt is a native of the La Crosse area. She attended Logan High School and the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Kim and her husband Doug have two children. They also own two Vizslas and two Domestic long haired cats.

She is the Past President of the Coulee Region Veterinary Medical Association and sits on the Public Education and Marketing Committee of the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association.
